General Manager - Mississauga, Canada - CT Bakery
Description
To lead the day-to-day operations of DC Donut Bakery, developing the highest standards of quality, safety, talent development, and on-time fulfillment of all PO's.
This cross-functional leadership role is tasked with translating the vision of the CEO into daily activities to ensure consistent and continuously improving execution and delivery.
The General Manager has P/L responsibilities and is primarily tasked with achieving business targets while ensuring a safe and effective manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daytoday company operations
- Execute on the vision of the company and deliver on key KPI's as outlined by the CEO.
- Manage revenue, expense, and profitability targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to ensure the business is on track.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions
- Interview, hire, train, and develop the management team
- Meet daily with the Operations team to ensure production planning, production execution, and logistics are on time and ensuring ontime/onbudget delivery of all PO's.
- Liaise frequently with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure sales plans are on budget and to understand forecasts to ensure adequate inventory management and capacity.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the daytoday performance of the company to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Identify and recommend capital investments for the plant to enhance productivity and quality, with a fulsome cost/benefit analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience running a business or business unit with multiple directreports and P/L responsibility
- 10+ years experience in bakery manufacturing or other food/beverage manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in a rapidlygrowing, quickly evolving company
Pay:
$100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
