    We are hiring an Ethylene Technology Leader to join our dynamic and diverse team and be central to our growth strategy.

    The candidate will provide specialist consulting advice to clients to support strategic decision making on both greenfield and brownfield facilities. This will include identifying and implementing opportunities to decarbonize facilities and related value chains. The ideal candidate will also have experience with technology licensing.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead and support client engagement activities, including all stages of customer relationship management
  • Develop decarbonization strategies for ethylene and related derivative facilities
  • seller/doer mindset
  • Develop conceptual designs for olefin facilities to support early cost estimating, site selection, environmental permitting, and other related business requirements for our customers
  • Support to our engineering teams to add overall value to our offerings
  • Recommends and prepares technical papers.
  • Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
  • Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
  • Requirements:

  • Requires Extensive Ethylene Engineering and / or licensing experience
  • At least ten years of experience in process design work with a predominant emphasis on ethylene cracking technology. This would include both hot and cold sections.
  • Experience across the project development cycle and operations preferred
  • BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law. Expert knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted procedures. Typically minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; relevant professional registration preferred.
  • Anticipates complex internal and external business issues with impact on the organization and can recommend innovative program and/or program solutions. Contributes to strategic program development. Proficient with engineering software applications; Computer proficiency required; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities somewhat important. The ability to prepare and present complex program proposals and reports to senior level management and customers is critical. Ability to establish project estimates and oversight of project budgets. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential to effectively teach what they know to other employees.
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to guide department personnel in partnership with and during manager's absence is essential. Ability to maintain confidential information critical.
  • Recognized as a "Leader" or "Technical Specialist" with the ability to technically advise and guide the department program design and development. Leads complex and often cross-functional project teams.
  • Comfortable interfacing with both internal and external partners, up to C-Suite members
