Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations while meeting and exceeding SIMPLICITY CAR CARE standard goals; ensure the 5S site plan is being maintained.
• Achieve predetermined sales, performance, and cost metrics; weekly/ monthly/ annually.
• Lead staff to consistently strive to exceed customer's expectations and consistently deliver a world class repair experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with appraisers, adjusters, managers, dealers, mechanics, and fleet accounts.
• Resolve escalated client complaints in a swift, courteous, and professional manor.
• Ensure scheduled in is set to maximum WIP capacity daily, and missed appointments are rescheduled as required.
• Responsible for site talent management activities

- recruitment, hiring, development, evaluation

• Audit all insurance estimates prior to upload.
• Authorize weekly payroll and commissions.
• Escalate issues or emergencies that cannot be resolved at the site level.
• Ensure staff training is completed and up to date.
• Report, update dashboards; audit metrics and processes as required.

Required Education and Experience

• College diploma or University degree in Business or related field
• 57 years' experience in a collision management role
• Prior experience leading a team in an automotive setting.
• Previous oversight and responsibility for a department/ business unit P&L
• Experience with Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems.
• Valid 'G' Class Driver's license and clean driving abstract
• I CAR Platinum certification is an asset.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Sound numerical and mathematical aptitude
• Knowledge of estimating practices and procedures
• Working knowledge of collision repair management and estimating systems i.e. Bodyshop Connect, Mitchell, Audatex
• Understanding of Insurance score cards
• Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Positive attitude and ability to motivate and lead a team towards a common goal.

Salary:
$110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
