Overview:


The
Maintenance Parts Coordinator is a key role on our MRO team, that maintains our stock of spare parts to ensure they are available when needed, conducts inventory counts, coordinates requisitions and purchase orders and supports our Senior MRO Buyer.

Details

  • Ensure that the spare parts inventory is maintained at required levels.
  • Coordinate with the MRO Buyer and respective departments and personnel to identify spare part requirements.
  • Coordinate with MRO to obtain quotes, order spare parts, noninventory and consumables items.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in work area and around work units, and spare parts storage area including labeling of spare parts, allocating designated storage for specific parts and good housekeeping.
  • Perform physical count of spare parts and generate/evaluate reports for further actions.
  • Conduct regular checks of consumables inventory (cycle counts).
  • Maintain logs for incoming and outgoing equipment for repair.
  • Enter requisitions in the inventory system and coordinate with Maintenance team to validate usage of spare parts.
  • Receive, verify, and enter spare parts in the inventory database.
  • Ensure that repaired spare parts are inspected and verified before placing them in inventory.
  • Issue spare parts against work orders and maintain the information in the CMMS.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for delivery and product quality.
  • As required, receive and direct thirdparty contractors and verify the proper execution of contracted services in terms of safety, quality, and timeliness.
  • Operate industrial lifting and moving devices to handle heavier / larger spare parts (note: training on lifting and moving devices will be provided where required).
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Relevant postsecondary education (e

Business, Supply Chain).

  • Proven experience in similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Proactive, resultsoriented with strong follow through skills.
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred.
  • Clear understanding of sizes and graduation in metric and Imperial systems.
  • Counterbalance experience electric preferred.
  • Computer proficiency: knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.),
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Position requires occasional work evenings, occasional weekends when needed (ex. Inventory counts etc.).
  • Able to lift 3540 lbs and move product/parts/boxes on a regular basis.

Also nice to have:


  • Forklift licence.
  • Familiar with Amhil products.
