Reporting to the Director, OH&S, the OH&S Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of occupational injuries to worker's compensation boards across Canada.

The OH&S Coordinator will provide meaningful insight and assistance to internal stakeholders to ensure the success of the Revera Occupational Return-to-Work Program.


Key Outcomes:


  • Support and foster the health and safety culture across entire the organization;
  • Assist with the Revera Occupational ReturntoWork Program;
  • Elevate client groups knowledge and skills to effectively manage the Revera Occupational Returnto Work Program;
  • Minimize organizational financial liability related to Worker's Compensation and RTW compliance; and
  • Participate in OH&S policies, programs and communications development and maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for occupational incident data collection from internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and optimize provincial reporting strategies driven by business processes;
  • Input and submission of all occupational incident reports to applicable provincial worker's compensation boards the OH&S Coordinator is responsible to ensure legislated reporting requirement are implemented and engage internal stakeholders accordingly;
  • Collaborate with Worker's Compensation Representative and Revera's third party occupational claims management provider where required;
  • Report and communicate with OH&S agencies where applicable of legislated notification requirements;
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on occupational claims management strategies and best practices;
  • Provide direction on internal OH&S tools and resources to internal stakeholders applicable to occupational workplace incident management;

Required Education, Credentials and Experience:


  • College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in OH&S or related field is required;
  • CHRP designation, or in progress is an asset;
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in the OH&S field;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Advanced computer skills;
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and decisionmaking skills;
  • Goal oriented team player and works well with all levels of employees and management;
  • Research and analytical skill;
  • Experience and/or knowledge with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act; and
  • Experience and/or knowledge of WSIB/WCB standards, regulations and procedures.
