Who are we looking for?
We are looking for mortgage agents/ brokers/associates who want to make a significant impact on modernizing the mortgage industry.

You are:

A highly motivated individual, who is a selfstarter with exceptional sales skills.
Dynamic and outgoing personality
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

You'll be working on:

Analyze borrower credit profiles, income, assets, and collateral to determine loan eligibility
Calculate debttoincome ratios and other financial ratios to assess risk and determine loan amounts
Maintain a working knowledge of industry regulations and company policies
Assist in the training and development of junior mortgage brokers
Data entry on expert programs ie Filogix.
Reviews, appraises and recommends submissions for acceptance or declination within established appetite.
Provides account servicing support for the team and agents.
Able to independently interact with brokers and customers in certain instances.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Underwriter/Broker.
A successful track record in sales
Bilingual/multilingual considered a great asset
Experience with Filogix is an asset
Underwriting experience is an asset
Retail banking experience as a mortgage specialist is an asset
