Job description
I am launching a new contemporary clothing brand focused on modern summer pieces, statement denim, and elevated everyday wear.I already have initial sketches and a strong creative direction, and I'm looking for an experienced freelance fashion designer to help bring the collection to a production-ready level.
The brand will combine wearable everyday pieces with bold statement designs suitable for going out.I'm particularly interested in working with embroidery, lace details, and unique pattern applications, especially on denim and key highlight pieces.
I need support turning my ideas and sketches into professional, manufacturer-ready tech packs.Scope of Work:
Refine 3–5 initial designs (summer pieces + patterned denim)
Develop both everyday essentials and standout statement items
Incorporate embroidery and lace detailing where appropriate
Create detailed tech packs including:
Flat sketches (front & back)
Measurement specs and grading
Fabric and trim recommendations (including lace and embroidery materials)
Construction details
Stitching and finishing instructions
Embroidery placement and specifications
Hardware details (buttons, rivets, zippers)
Label placement
Deliverables:
Complete manufacturer-ready tech packs (PDF + editable format preferred)
Clear, detailed documentation suitable for production
1–2 revision rounds per design
Professional guidance on preparing for sampling and manufacturing
Ideal Designer:
Experience in contemporary fashion, streetwear, or elevated casual
Strong knowledge of embroidery techniques and lace application
Experience designing statement pieces and occasion wear
Solid understanding of denim construction and washes
Clear communication and ability to meet agreed timelines
