Associate Project Manager, you will play a key role in project management across our Business Technology team, and the wider Shared Services group. You will assist with the organization and coordination of all stages of a Project with a focus on software development projects that require knowledge/understanding of technical requirements and architecture to successfully manage the project end to end.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business or Computer Science preferred)
  • Ability to quickly process and articulate a business need
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Passion for learning and selfmotivated
  • Excellent oral and written communication as well as sufficient presentation skills with the ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Client or Account management

Preferred:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management principles, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with standard project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum)
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and customer information systems/CRM
  • Handson experience with CRM software products and JIRA would be a strong asset

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assists in effective staff management related to Project, including training and development, process management, and the promotion of an inclusive and innovative work environment.
  • Creates and contributes to ongoing maintenance of documentation & planning materials.
  • Creates and contributes to requirements documentation logging business requirements from the project or work item and managing them through to execution.
  • Produces diagrams to document the current business flow and how that will change once the solution is implemented.
  • Creates and contributes to solution documentation for business review.
Contributes to ensuring expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered.

  • Communicates, facilitates and participates in meetings between business and technical teams to accurately capture business needs.
  • Supports in identifying schedule uncertainties and project/work item risks.
  • Assists with Coordination of internal stakeholders, project team to ensure timely delivery of work item/project/program deliverables.
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of projects/work items to Project Manager and/or Stakeholders.
  • Supports & helps troubleshoot delivered work during build and postdeployment.
  • Facilitates training to clients/staff.
  • Could lead a project as the designated project manager.
