Job Summary
+The Island Health Division of Hematology is recruiting a Hematologist to join the Island-Wide program.++The successful candidate will have a flexible vision and excellent benign and malignant hematology skills.+
It is expected the candidate will embrace the full scope of Hematology work,+ including a part-time position at BC Cancer to assess and manage patients with lymphoma, myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndrome.+Research+and medical education opportunities are available.+The Division of Hematology+and BC Cancer is affiliated with the University of British Columbia,+and this position includes clinical teaching of undergraduate+and postgraduate learners.
- Hematology services for inpatient consultative services
- Outpatient hematology service to Central+Nanaimo Regional General Hospital +Central+Nanaimo Region as well as North Island
