Client Service Specialist

(This is an office based role)

We require a French Speaker for this role.

As an Associate, you will work directly alongside our brokers and team members in the broader Affinity and Canadian business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career with a dynamic team as a broker.

This role is a great way to learn about multiple kinds of insurance, negotiation, and technical details as well as the processes to acquire new business and facilitate policy renewals.

Each day in this role could include:

Processing insurance renewals, policy changes and new business
Working within Salesforce to update client files, attach documents, input changes etc.
Preparing certificates and other documents as required for the brokers
Monitoring general inboxes and triaging requests
Support to the team on various projects and annual program renewals
Data entry for reports, proposals and other documentation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Obtain/sort documents and information quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in data entry and strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment
A positive attitude and a willingness to share knowledge and insight with the team
Effective communication skills both written and oral
Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence decisions and gain agreement and support
A resultsoriented professionalism with a strong work ethic

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge of Microsoft office, Teams, Excel
Computer efficiency and ability to learn to use new software systems
Prior experience in a brokerage or with an insurer considered an asset
Prior experience working in an office or in a team environment
Customer service experience is an asset
Strong phone skills including listening and documenting information
Bilingualism is required (English & French)
RIBO Licence preferred
