Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine dental examinations, including dental screenings, assessments, and evaluations of oral health conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history.
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants with precision and care.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote optimal oral health.
  • Administer local anesthesia and other medications as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
  • Utilize dental equipment and technology, including digital imaging, intraoral cameras, and CAD/CAM systems, to enhance diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow in the practice.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, new treatment techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:


  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid state dental license and in good standing with the State Board of Dentistry.
  • Completion of a residency program or equivalent training in general dentistry.
  • Proven clinical skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.
  • Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with dental professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Dedication to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

Salary:
$99,350.79-$300,000.00 per year
