Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including dental screenings, assessments, and evaluations of oral health conditions.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants with precision and care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote optimal oral health.
- Administer local anesthesia and other medications as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Utilize dental equipment and technology, including digital imaging, intraoral cameras, and CAD/CAM systems, to enhance diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow in the practice.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, new treatment techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license and in good standing with the State Board of Dentistry.
- Completion of a residency program or equivalent training in general dentistry.
- Proven clinical skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with dental professionals from diverse backgrounds.
- Dedication to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient scheduling needs.
Salary:
$99,350.79-$300,000.00 per year
