Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental examinations, including dental screenings, assessments, and evaluations of oral health conditions.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history.
Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants with precision and care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote optimal oral health.
Administer local anesthesia and other medications as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Utilize dental equipment and technology, including digital imaging, intraoral cameras, and CAD/CAM systems, to enhance diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow in the practice.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, new treatment techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license and in good standing with the State Board of Dentistry.
Completion of a residency program or equivalent training in general dentistry.
Proven clinical skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.
Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with dental professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Dedication to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient scheduling needs.
