The Opportunity:
You Are Good At:
- Responsible for preparation of key reporting for use by Department Heads and Executive Teams to provide insight into the company's collections and AR key metrics and serve to assist in strategic decision making and help shape the future of AR collection operations.
- Write code to automate standard tasks and contribute to digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and know your numbers. Your critical thinking skills will ensure you are well prepared to answer why results have improved or declined compared to previous periods and what we're doing to address shortfalls.
- Work with peers to gather data insights and put forward recommendations to improve collections operations procedures/methods which ultimately delivers on improvements to key metrics.
- Deliver reporting automation for standard weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences.
- Build reporting dashboards to provide a near to real time view of performance metrics
- Partner and assist internal stakeholders with ad hoc report requirements and fulfilment of their requests
What It Takes:
- University degree in one of Computer Science or Engineering, Accounting, Business, Economics, or any related field. (New Graduates are welcomed)
- Experience coding in Python
- Comfortable handling and extracting large amounts of disparate data using SQL queries.
- Expert level Excel user: can build Excel Slicers, Pivot Tables, and work with large quantities of data.
- Critical thinking and resilience skills with ability to introduce innovative solution to complex problems.
- Analytics expertise, including the ability to interpret data, present data, and explain drivers, outcomes and impacts to peers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work on and prioritize various deliverables
- Ability to contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration amongst your peers and other stakeholder groups
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with any dashboarding and/or visualization tool(s) is a plus
- Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Business Objects and Salesforce is a plus
- Experience writing VBA code and building complex macros to drive reporting automation is a plus
- Ability to present ideas logically and concisely to stakeholders at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to train, utilizing change management methodologies to ensure your peers and stakeholders successfully use new processes
