We're now looking for a Business Development Manager for our Surface Drilling offering to be an important contributor for Sandvik's growth in this area.

The role


Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager and drive market growth for the Sandvik range of Surface Drills in the construction and quarrying market on the East Coast of Australia and New Zealand.

As the key driver of multilevel customer relationships, you'll have a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and passion for customer engagement to increase market share and penetrate new markets with our innovative product offering.

As a Business Development Manager for Sandvik's Surface Drills, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and success.

With your expertise in developing and executing medium to long-term strategies, you'll be responsible for delivering results that exceed our customers' expectations.

You'll help develop and grow the Surface Drills business by forging strong relationships with customers that keep us at the top of our game.

You'll also work with our Sales, Service, Parts, and Logistics teams to ensure Sandvik is able to deliver outstanding customer service.

Profile:


We're looking for a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the mining or construction industry, particularly in construction and quarrying, sales or business development.

A Bachelor degree or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred, along with a track record of building and nurturing relationships with customers.

Safety is a top priority, and we're looking for someone who shares our strong safety management culture.

As a technical sales professional, you'll have a proven track record of closing deals, and you'll be comfortable using a consultative selling style to promote customer solutions.

You're commercially astute, with demonstrated business acumen, and you're able to assess and manage business risk effectively.


As a leader, you'll be skilled in motivating others to achieve outcomes, and you'll have a track record of success in this area.

Your interpersonal skills will be highly developed, and you'll be comfortable negotiating with customers at a senior level and interacting with operational personnel.

You'll also have a talent for building effective relationships within the industry, both internally and externally.

Analytical skills are a must, and you'll be comfortable travelling within Australia when required.
