Description

Established multi-site Childcare Operator seeks Supply Assistant Teacher position at our Children Are People Child Care Centre location.

Position:
Supply - Occasional

Qualifications and Requirements:

Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR
AED Level C
Current and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
Complete Toronto Public Health Medical and Immunization requirements

Skills Required:

Warm and Energetic individual who has the ability to work with Children of all ages, experience with ** age group is an asset.
Dependable and Flexible arrives on time and ready to commence work as scheduled
Must have general knowledge of Childcare Operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/TPH/ICSG [incl. TDSB Policies and Procedures for sites located in TDSB]
Maintain Room control with positive Behaviour Management Strategies
Ability to plan and implement a program

Assets:

Working Knowledge of the Lillio Application (Parent Portal)
Experience with laptop/tablet use to program and record Children's profiles
Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalency (not required)
ECA Certificate (Not required)
Any relevant experience working with Children (not required)

Hours of work:

Varies
Depends on Needs of Centre. Up to 8 hours/day [Up to 40 hours/week]
Centre Hours of Operation are 7:00am 6:00pm
