    Unlock Your Potential in Senior Secured Leverage Finance

    This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and deliver value to clients through the structuring, delivery, and management of senior secured leveraged lending transactions.

    You will be part of a growing national team of credit underwriters committed to delivering quality credit solutions to operating companies. Under the direction of experienced leaders, you will structure, deliver, and manage syndicated and bilateral loan transactions.

    Your expertise will be instrumental in providing research, analysis, and data to support guidance and advice on optimal loan structures required to meet client objectives. You will also analyze and support risk and return profiles associated with loan transactions contemplated as part of client strategies.

    To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of corporate lending and risk management principles. A bachelor's degree in business or economics is required, along with relevant work experience in corporate lending or risk management.

    A proven ability to work through loan agreements and other legal documents with high attention to detail is essential. Strong analytical, technical, written, and communication skills are also necessary to model and interpret financial sensitivity and scenario worksheets.

    This role requires strong personal and client relationship skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment under time constraints. Bilingualism (English and French) is highly desirable for candidates in Quebec, where regular business interactions occur.

    As a key member of the team, you will have opportunities to engage with RBC partners and functions, including Relationship Managers, Treasury & Cash Management, Credit Management, and Global Loans Administration.
