    What You'll Do

    As the Business Operations Support Specialist, you will provide the highest levels of internal and external customer support. This encompasses managing the entire order-to-cash and inventory management processes which includes accurate order taking and input, delivery tracking, invoicing, inventory, and product movement analysis (which comprises, inventory counts, processing of purchase orders and purchase requisitions and other related finance tasks. Other duties will include:

  • Manage designated Customer Accounts – Joint Ventures & Retail Customers:
  • Translate customer demand requirements into purchase requirements
  • Create & process SAP sales order cycle through customer invoice
  • Manage Service disruptions, late deliveries, and quality issues with the customer by managing customer expectations, and ensure correct information flow is occurring internally & externally
  • Prioritize customer requirements, reviewing alternative inventory options by working with cross functional teams across Dyno Nobel
  • Manage customer expectations; Manage any past due items daily, providing timely updates to customers
  • Improve current internal processes in order to increase customer satisfaction and streamline process
  • Maintain Open/Past due Order reporting
  • Actively participate in Customer Service daily stand-up meetings – forward communicate (to business and customers) any issues as they arise
  • Manage long term problem resolutions Daily knowledge of delivery status, and how that will impact specific customer orders
  • Provide customer specific input / commentary into Sales & Operating Planning cycles
  • Manage SAP sales order cycle - goods issues/receipts specific to each North American site. Timely inventory reconciliation at each site is required after daily sales activities.
  • Work with AP/AR to resolve Customer issues with Payments acting as single customer focal point
  • Verification of customer pricing prior to creating the invoice for the customer.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • Associates Degree
  • SAP is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience with an ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) preferred. SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Comply with all government regulation (including NRCan, TDG, OH&S and WHMIS) and company policies (including ISO and MSA standards)
