Description

We are looking for a Casual Security Guard to work at a Mall.

As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

Schedule:
Casual - Various shifts, days, nights, etc

Location: 900 Maple Ave

Pay rate :
$16.50

Training rate:
$15.50

What does a Security Guard in Burlington do?:

Perform patrols on foot
Dealing with customers and tenant disputes
Locking mall entrances
Provide excellent customer service to everyone on the property
Work closely with the mall services as well as with the emergency services when appropriate
Write daily and incident reports
Intervene during medical emergencies and provide first aid
Be prepared to respond to situations of crime, urgency and disturbance occurring at the mall
Facilitate access to authorized persons to restricted areas
Monitor closed circuit cameras (if applicable) to ensure proper operation of the shopping center
Answer and follow up on phone calls received by the security service
Monitor the fire alarm system and fire extinguisher system

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Burlington:

Possession of a valid provincial security guard license
First aid and CPR certification
Valid G class drivers license
Strong customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of criminal, provincial and federal laws as they pertain to the security industry
