Your Opportunity:


Working under the general direction of the SHC Bone and Joint Clinic Unit Manager, the Front Desk Clerk is a member of an integrated team, performing multiple clerical duties including patient registration and check in for multiple clinics within the Bone and Joint Program.

The Front Desk clerk facilitate, manages, and prioritizes patient flow through the clinic, paying attention to the dynamics of the clinic.

Effective communication between patients, nurses, surgeons, administrative assistants, and other members of the health care team is essential.

The incumbent will work as part of a team of clerical staff responsible for reception, registration and checking patients in for appointments, creation of walk-in appointments and assisting with next day clinic prep.

The incumbent must manage a fast-paced interdisciplinary clinic while interacting and answering questions from the public in a positive and friendly fashion.
