Technician,to join our amazing culture in our Mississauga office for a 4-month work period in the Summer 2023 term. As a Student BAS Technician, you will be responsible for solving complex customer challenges everyday employing skills that include Software Programming, IT Networks, Troubleshooting and Integration of building systems.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Work on new construction sites and existing customer sites installing, programming and troubleshooting Building Systems including HVAC Control, Energy Management, Lighting Control and Security systems.
  • Follows clear instructions when performing job startups and checkouts on job sites to work safely.
  • Work in office with design and service departments to prepare submittal and As-Built documentation using MS Office and Visio.
  • Provide technical support to end users when applicable. Proactively seeks technical guidance from more experienced staff for difficult and unusual situations.
  • Execute all work in accordance with provincial and local regulations, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Act as "our customer's best service provider" at all times.
  • Performs other office duties as requested and required (warehouse, administration, sales assistance)

Requirements:


  • Student enrolled in an electrical, electronics, computer programming, or related program.
  • Exposure to electronic, security, and/or building systems would be an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada (for example, by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work permit).
  • Valid driver's license is required.
