Machine Operator Job Description
ROLE:
DAY SHIFT & AFTERNOON SHIFT
Health Canada Security Cleared
- Responsible to start up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle and ensure machine is running smoothly
- Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely; operate tools in order to aid in the manufacture process
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Monitoring of HMI
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines
- Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
- Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
- Maintain activity logs
- Other duties as assigned
Salary:
From $22.50 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Machine Operator (preferred)
