Position Description:


  • With the goal of ensuring clarity, cohesion, and alignment of OWNs response to the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board's (WSIB) Request for Proposal (RFP), the RFP Writer & Implementation Lead develops and writes material that supports the OWN Network's response to the requirements set forth by WSIB. This response to RFP will represent the OWN Network, which consists of twentyone (21) hospitals and two (2) rehab partners.
  • Working closely with Senior Leadership and other relevant stakeholders, the Writer has a clear understanding of objectives and can translate ideas and the Network's position and philosophy into clear and concise material that reflects TOH and OWNs vision, mission, and values while maintaining alignment with it's brand and clearly demonstrating that OWN has the expertise and ability to service the injured worker population of Ontario, with the highest quality standards.
  • The role will liaise with Network Partners and act as a key resource to implement the WSIB contract consistently and efficiently. This will include working with OWN's technology partners and clinical experts to update and deliver the required education and training. _Temporary until approximately October 26, 2024._

What you will bring:


  • Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Health Administration, or Business Administration;
  • Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Physiotherapist;
  • Five (5) years of experience working in Occupational Rehab as a clinician;
  • Five (5) years of experience working with WSIB casefiles;
  • Experience developing and implementing program strategies;
  • Proven success in creating compelling, persuasive, engaging strategic clinical content;
  • Knowledge and experience managing projects;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, oversee the cost, time, and scope of projects, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results;
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a datainformed decisionmaking approach;
  • Ability to interpret and translate concepts, themes, and ideas into effective response document;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner in a variety of mediums;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, which includes the ability to use sound judgement, creativity, and imagination to translate complex ideas into clear and engaging;

  • Through knowledge of correct use of grammar, construction, and spelling;
  • Ability to work as a part of a team collaboratively in a fastpaced environment;
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively with senior executives on highlevel strategic issues and develop materials accordingly;
  • Ability to produce program materials across a variety of platforms;
  • Must be able to bring to life strategic initiatives and business priorities through the voice of OWN in a way that comes across as relatable and inspiring

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Leadership experience as a Project Lead or Manager.
