Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates is looking to add to our growing team and is actively hiring a
Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) for our Burlington Clinic location. We are looking for positive and
motivated individuals that are dedicated to health and fitness promotion and working
collaboratively with our Physiotherapy team.
Burlington Clinic - Part Time 2-3 days per week
As a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA), you will have completed a Bachelor's degree in Human
Kinetics or Kinesiology and will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapist and ensuring
the smooth operation of our clinic. You will work closely with clients, providing hands-on guided
exercises and assisting to help carry out their treatment plan. Your compassion, energy and
dedication will contribute to the overall success of our client's recovery.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) will provide exemplary care to our clients in the areas of
Clinical and Occupational Health in accordance with practice standards. PTA will work in a
physiotherapy clinical setting providing health and wellness solutions to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Physiotherapists in delivering treatment plan, exercises and modalities to our
- Responsible for the functional assessment and outcome measures of clients streaming
- Responsible for implementing educational and functional exercise programs for Trillium,
- Collaborates with physiotherapists to execute exercise plans for our Enhanced
- Provides disciplinespecific clinical care to identify and integrate safe, best practices and
- Ability to motivate and inspire patients during treatment and or consultations.
- Actively seek out prospective patients and promote EPA Physio products and services.
- Keep clean and maintain the gym areas.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of science in Kinesiology
- Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (in good standing) or working
- towards your accreditation
- Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional
- A positive, professional, and flexible attitude, dynamic and energetic personality
- Embraces and promotes clinical fitness approach
- Prior experience in a Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation setting is an asset
- Experience with Functional Abilities Evaluations, Post Offer Employment Testing would
- Specialized exercise certification like BoneFit or GLAD also an asset
