Position :
Oracle Database Performance Tuning Expert

Location:
Toronto,Ontario (Hybrid)

Duration : 6+ months contract

Job Description:


  • Minimum 10+years of Experience in Oracle Performance Tunning
  • Experience and knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Trace/Explain plans, SQL performance tuning. Setting Oracle parameters, and options.
  • Experience in finding the Root Cause of Complex Performance Issues
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining Tables, Partitioning, indexes, Triggers, stored procedures, etc. in a large terabyte database environment.
  • Handson experience on installation and configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle products and patches, including, RAC, ASM, Clusterware, Data Guard,.
  • Experience with Oracle 11g,12c and 19c.
  • Solid experience in Linux, Linux Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata

Job Type:
Fixed term contract


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Performance tuning: 10 years (preferred)
  • Oracle: 10 years (preferred)
  • Linux: 6 years (preferred)
