Job Description:


They help contribute to the realization of enrolment and conversion goals by ensuring timely processing, strong communication and effective relationships with students and program coordinators and supports end of semester debriefs with the academic departments.

The Registration and Records Specialist is the lead for all AC Online activity in relation to registration and records.

This includes the prompt update of ACO timelines, completing auto grad and other registration related reports, and updating the schedule of activity.


The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the training and onboarding of new college-wide initiatives to the Registration and Records team, ensuring a seamless transition to the registration of new delivery methods, new campuses and additional contracts as they arise.


Required Responsibilities:

  • Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree, in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive office experience in a service area or in a business office setting with increased responsibilities;
  • Minimum five (5) years experience coordinating activities with conflicting deadlines;
  • Experience in a student service environment or Registrar's Office is preferred;
  • Have experience working and/or leading in a team environment;
  • The incumbent is responsible for the collection, security and balancing of all student payments taken in the Registrar's Office therefore a thorough knowledge of cash handling and balancing procedures is required;
  • Progressively senior clerical experience in an independent setting;
  • Demonstrated progression and experience in administrative roles in a postsecondary or client service setting;
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian college system and international student admission requirements and experience dealing with a diverse population of post secondary students;
  • Experience using Salesforce and a Student Information system is preferred.
