About the Opportunity:

The Resource Facilitator is responsible for assisting departments and nursing areas in accessing resources needed to deliver patient care.

The Resource Facilitator reports to the Patient Access and Flow Manager and functions after hours under the direction of the Patient Flow and Operations Leader or Administration On-Call in keeping them apprised of any needs, concerns or questions related to clinical situations.

This position provides evening, overnight, and weekend coverage.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Postsecondary certificate course in medical office related studies is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Certified Medical Terminology course required
  • Nonviolent crisis intervention training required
  • Experience and knowledge with Meditech is required
  • Knowledge of the Kronos scheduling system is an asset
  • Familiarity with Union contracts is an asset
  • BCLS required
  • Ability to function independently in an organized manner with mínimal supervision is required
  • Ability to work shift work, evenings, nights and weekends required
  • Ability to work as an integral member of a team is required
  • Ability to use good decision making skills under pressure is essential
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Incentives:
