About the Role:


We are looking for a skilled & enthusiastic Business Development Representative ("BDR") to assist our diverse and dynamic Sales Team in identifying business growth opportunities for specific product lines in international markets, particularly the United States.


Summary of Responsibilities:


  • Consistently prospecting and hunting for new opportunities and new potential clients and deals in the United States and other markets.
  • Following up on legacy leads
  • Communicating with sales representatives regarding increasing current client spending (new developments, transitioning oneservice only clients to more Rentsync offerings)
  • Reporting to the Director of Sales on targets, progress, pipeline, goals, and achievements using Hubspot CRM platform

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Can effectively communicate sales material and important information to clients while remaining enthusiastic and personable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to effectively use company platforms & databases
  • Fluent in English

Minimum Qualifications:


  • A relevant post secondary degree in Business Development, Economics or a similar discipline
  • At least one year of workplace experience with strategic prospecting and/or lead generation
  • Currently residing in Canada, legally entitled to work in Ontario, Canada

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Workplace experience in the Property Management/Rental Property management industries
  • Workplace experience with international strategic prospecting
  • Workplace experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
  • Able to report to our Toronto or St. Catharines office for 23 working days per week.
