E&I Lead Hand


Scovan is looking for an E&I Lead Hand to join our team in Ponoka immediately This position offers stable, full-time hours with an opportunity to grow and learn from our hard-working team As the E&I Lead Hand, you will be a vital member of the company's continuous development and will maintain a professional and safe work environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Work under the direct supervision of the Superintendent.
  • Ensure workers are following safe work practices and procedures.
  • Direct work with the help of the Foreman to the E&I crew.
  • Execute work fronts and plans created by the Foreman.
  • Understand the specific Scope of Work.
  • Proactive reporting of material shortages.
  • Ensure worker productivity.
  • Quality assurance of executed work completed.
  • Submit daily progress reports.
  • Work independently and follow the Foreman's direction.
  • Work on the tools.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician in the oil and gas industry
  • Must have WHMIS, CSTS20, Fall Pro and AWP certifications
  • Previous experience leading crews
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Valid journeyman or interprovincial certification is required

Details:


  • Fulltime hours
  • Typical shift is Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day.
  • Shifts may vary based on workload requirements.
  • All work is completed in our industrial module yard in Ponoka, Alberta.
  • No LOA or travel allowance provided.
