GUNN Contracting is based on Southern Vancouver Island and works on several construction projects, renovations, upgrades, and other servicing projects.

We have been in the industry for years with various customers across Victoria, the capital regional district, and beyond. We are seeking carpenters/handymen/Skilled Laborers, and people wanting to increase their skills.

Wage:
$25-37/hr. based on experience and benefits after the prohibition period.

There is room to advance in the company for the dedicated, professional and hard working individuals.

Gunn Contracting is looking for professional and skilled individuals to join our team.

We are looking for individuals that are competent in their work ethics and efforts, that can satisfy our customers with their needs/problems and be able to accurately report back the situations.

We are looking for team players who take pride in their work and themselves with their professionality.

We are looking for Carpenters and skilled laborers that will assist us with building and renovation jobs, Handyman services for homeowners and rental companies.

Experience in Construction tasks such as framing, concreting, drywalling, painting, finish carpentry, and problem solving situations and properties.

We want people who like to be a part of the solution in getting things done right.

The requirements we are expecting from you:

>> Proven experience as a carpenter and/or skilled laborer with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

- >> Journeyman carpenter certification is a great asset
- >> Positive attitude, highly dependable, with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- >> Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- >> Usual work schedule is 8 hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Ability to work occasional weekends.
- >> Good physical condition, endurance, reliable attendance, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- >> Reliable transportation with a valid driving license and a smart phone. Preferably you drive a truck, and there is gas allowance for truck usage within the company. Owning and using your own tools is preferable.
- >> Must be based on close proximity to Langford, Victoria, or Vancouver Island (or willing to move).

Salary:
$25.00-$37.00 per hour
