Description

We are looking for an experienced
Warehouse Worker for our client located in
Mississauga,
ON. The company is in the business of cameras.

PRINCIPAL FOCUS:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for various tasks and duties related to the storage warehouse.

These may include accurate, timely, damage-free shipping and receiving and other tasks such as stocking, tracking of product, picking, and packing of orders as required, and ensuring proper stocking of merchandise.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

May perform any of (but not limited to) the tasks below, using a computerized inventory system to access and update data:

Receiving
Receives, unpacks, inspects, scans, stores, and/or delivers merchandise or materials, identifies missing stock, and completes appropriate documentation.

Shipping

Picks, checks, scans, packs, addresses, and loads merchandise.

Picking

Fulfills orders by picking inventory and packing for shipment.
Supporting Retail Store staff by bringing goods to the Retail for order fulfillment
May work independently or with a team.
Inventory counts and bin scans on a regular basis, reporting and acting on results.
Maintenance of safe and clean warehouse and work areas always
Stock retail shelves ensure stock is adequate and properly presented.
As directed, sets out displays and demo merchandise according to policy, procedures, and display plans
Other miscellaneous duties as directed.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Able to work quickly and accurately with others and alone.
Taskoriented selfstarter who is deadline focused.
Polite and customer (internal & external) focused.
Safety Focused
Competent with PC and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
Previous exposure to ERP systems is preferred.
Previous Shipping & Receiving experience is preferred.

Location:
MississaugaMississauga

Pay Rate:
$18/hr to $20/hr.

Shift:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
