Description
Aldergrove Truck and Crane is hiring We are looking to expand our team with a Shop Helper.

The main duties of a Shop Helper will include:


  • Pickup & delivery of parts
  • Shop cleaning and maintenance of shop tools
  • Regular ground maintenance (Ie. Moving trucks, washing building and floors, pressure washing trucks, etc)
  • Assisting mechanic(s) with jobs (Ie. Lifting, cleaning parts, filling oils, checking lights, etc)
  • Class 5 or 7 license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Knowledge of automotive, heavy trucks or equipment
  • A good memory and time management skills
  • The ability to lift 50lbs regularly
  • A motivated and professional attitude
The Shop Helper position is a flexible position, 32-40hrs per week with occasional weekend shifts.


Salary:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Langley, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (required)
