- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
- Order, receive, and merchandise stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures, as required
- Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs
- Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products
- Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping work area clean and presentable as per Company requirements
- Prep Customer orders, as required
- Process department shrink, as required
- Participate in the training of junior staff
- Other duties as required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Above average communication skills (oral and written)

The Grocery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. At Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week. This requirement is integral to our commitment to team collaboration and the overall success of our office culture.
The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $15.00 - $19.40. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
