Reporting to the Mill Maintenance/Instrumentation Supervisor, the Instrumentation Technician is responsible for installation and maintenance of instrumentation throughout site.

What you will do:

Responsible for installing and maintaining instrumentation control loops
Responsible for installation of Ethernet and Fiber Optic communication
Responsible for measurement accuracy of flow, level, pressure, density, vibration and temperature, etc using hart protocol
Responsible for programming and configuration on Delta V DCS
Responsible for routine maintenance such as calibration and configuration of transmitters and valves

What you will bring:

Instrumentation Technologist or Journeyman Red Seal Instrument Mechanic required
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Working knowledge of instrumentation methods required
Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus.
A positive attitude and customer focused approach
Ability to prioritize and work as part of a team
