Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.
As ATB's next Manager, EFS Distribution Channel Strategist, you will work with teams across ATB as we develop the longer term Sales and Client Experience strategies with a focus on both Physical and Digital Channels for Everyday Financial Services (EFS). Reporting to the Director EFS Strategy - Channels you will be accountable to support the creation and documentation of AoE (area of expertise) specific strategies that support and interlink with our physical distribution strategy.
Accountabilities of the role include:
- Research and analysis of trends in Physical and Digital Banking
- Reports on key outcomes across strategic, operational and tactical initiatives and programs
- Leverage datadriven insights to embed learnings into project / program design and use them to track against strategic goals
- Contribution to the creation of annual strategic roadmaps
- Knowledge of key business processes / systems and how they interlink, and is able to leverage that knowledge to support the vision and goal creation of improvement related initiatives / projects
- Contribute to the development of strategy documentation for senior leadership
- Work cross functionally with partners from across ATB including
- EFS Operations & Enablement, People Places & Spaces, Client Experience and Product to coordinate strategy design and ensure feasibility of products, projects and programs
Requirements:
- Post secondary education
- Bachelor degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Commerce, Data Analytics or Computer Sciences) or equivalent, MBA would be an asset
- 5+years working at a Financial Institution or Retail Organization
- Demonstrated experience writing strategy documents at a senior level or contributing to executive level (you will be required to create a strategy document from scratch during the hiring competition)
- Management consulting experience would be considered an asset
- Experience in developing in developing digital banking strategies (or equivalent) Demonstrated experience in developing client and team member centered strategies
