Arrow was formed at the beginning of 2013 as a full-service company, specializing in construction, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.

Today our construction department is flourishing, and we carry out projects for many public clients including City of Ottawa, BGIS, PWGSC and DND as well as private clients.

Job Summary:


Duties:


  • Collaborate with clients and internal team to deliver timely project results
  • Coordinate and manage trades on site
  • Oversee trades and tasks that trades are doing on site
  • Fill out daily logs and checklists
  • Assist in trade coordination and support trade on site.
  • Attend to every inspection on sites
  • Visit job sites daily (if working on multiple sites)
  • Perform labor tasks on construction sites as needed, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained (i.e. cleaning site, light framing, light drywall/taping etc)
  • Participate in company's training.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Project Managers regarding job performance through online platform
  • Upload Daily Logs and Complete Daily To-Dos on online platform.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 1015 years of construction labour experience.
  • Practical project management and project administration knowledge
  • Experience working as a site supervisor
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as ProCore/ or be willing to learn the software
  • Critical thinking, independent problem solving
  • Think outside the box
  • High work ethic
  • Exceptional attention to detail with respect to notetaking, and data monitoring and recording, with a limited margin of error.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, organization, planning and multitasking skills.
  • An excellent team player committed to contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Ability to work within a team independently and collaboratively, as required, and with limited supervision.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding and handson experience, in construction projects
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Understands technical language in engineering construction projects. Knowledge on how to read drawings
