    Do you love all things golf? Ever wanted to work and play on Canada's highest‑elevation golf course? We are looking to recruit Golf Associates for the upcoming summer. You will assist guests and members in the pro shop with their tee times, equipment rentals and merchandise. The ideal applicant is happy to work indoors and outdoors in a mountain environment in varying weather conditions.     Compensation Information: $19.00 per hour

    Physical Requirement: Medium, Indoor and Outdoor.

    • Walking, standing, bending, crouching and twisting for periods of time.
    • Ability to work in various conditions, including inside the shop, underground in the garage space, and outside.
    • Exposure to heat, rain, smoke, and noise.
    • Lifting – Exerting 20+ kg of strength occasionally, and/or 10 kg of strength frequently or constantly to move objects.

    This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

    Skills You Bring With You

    • Previous experience in golf industry, guest service, or retail.
    • Strategic decision‑making, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
    • Team player who can demonstrate professional communication and respectful.
    • Familiar with operating a Point of Sale and Tee Sheet Management System.
    • Self‑motivated with the ability to respond and manage multiple demands (anticipate and respond).
    • Valid Driver's License.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Understand, follow, and enforce golf policies and procedures to ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient operations.
    • Manage all bookings, rentals, sales, and payments through the Point‑of‑Sale System as trained.
      • Ensure all guests have completed relevant information, e‑mail, credit card, and waivers.
    • Responsible for cleaning, charging, and staging power cart fleet.
    • Ensure Pro Shop and outside service areas are clean, safe and presentable through regular cleaning.
    • Obtain strong knowledge of all products and their benefits to assist guests with purchasing decisions.
    • Greet and interact with members, guests, and staff in a respectful, courteous and efficient manner.
    • Perform daily inspections and account for cart and club rentals.
    • Record keeping; monitor and report any damage or concerns immediately.
    • Operate according to the code of conduct, mission, and values of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and Golf Operations.
    • Health and Safety; immediate action required when concerns arise. Report to Manager.
