Qualifications & Skills:

Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
Knowledge and experience in a broad range of civil and commercial legal matters, including commercial contracts, joint ventures, international sales and trade, Canadian corporate and securities law, and corporate finance;
Handle all aspects of civil litigation at the Superior Court of Ontario, Small Claims Court, and various tribunals, monitor and keep track of trigger dates
Stay abreast of industry standards and through participation in professional workshops, practicing communities & individual learning
Superior social and interpersonal skills capable of cordial interactions with staff and lawyers, and respectful interactions with clients, opposing counsel, courts and tribunals;
Ability to provide a variety of legal opinions, including risk/benefits analysis, based on information provided to assist in higherlevel decision making;
Ability to meet a deadline and who will demonstrate organizational ability in the maintenance with us of our Litigation File List.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical, research and writing skills
Ability to handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to prioritize & work under pressure
