Description

The HR Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for full cycle recruitment of health care aides and practical nurses to work in a home care setting.

This position includes collecting and gathering personnel records and documentation for all employees in compliance with Alberta employment standards.


Responsibilities

  • Continuous development and execution of a local recruitment strategy
  • Collaborate with care team to assess hiring needs
  • Post jobs and manage the hiring process using an applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Conduct new hire employee orientations and ongoing training
  • Full administration of employee files and HR related documentation
  • Assist in scheduling, reception and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous full cycle recruitment experience preferred
  • Experience in a high volume home care setting is considered an asset
  • Associate's degree or higher level of education preferred
  • Self motivated and organized, able to handle stress and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
  • Experienced user of technology including MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Outgoing and positive attitude, enjoys team collaboration
  • Professional presentation
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility
  • A professional appearance
