The City of Port Moody is seeking an efficient and customer service oriented I.S. Systems Analyst I to fill a temporary, full-time opportunity for approximately one year.

Responsibilities:

Assist with design and development of solutions (may include database interfaces)
Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required
Train end users
Create system guidelines and manuals
Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas

Basic Qualifications:

A two year technical diploma, preferably including training in Microsoft SQL programming, and two years of programming experience in a complex, multisystem business environment.
Strong understanding of business processes, data structures and system relationships
Experience with relational databases and programming algorithms
Experience with Maintenance Connection or other maintenance management systems is an asset
Excellent communication and documentation skills
