    Position Summary:

    The person in this position will negotiate and deal for sourcing food inventory with producers (or vendors) and bring competitive pricing for Red Swan Pizza. Works in collaboration with the operation team to drive profitability and enhance the sales growth of restaurants across Canada.

    Essentials Functions

    • Negotiate the food procurement deal with different vendors.
    • Contract review and formulation with distribution partners
    • Search new vendors for the procurement.
    • Develop Procurement strategies for reducing the food cost.
    • Assist the operation team with SOP developments.
    • Engaging with restaurant partners for the operations
    • Collaborates with suppliers to solve quality and/or service problems; expedites deliveries as necessary.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Knowledge in food industry and buying food from the producers/farmers, markets, or processing firms.
    • Human Relations - ability to work in teams, interact with others across departments/roles, develop relationships, etc.
    • Self Management - self-directed with the ability to deal with distraction, repetition, prioritization, fluctuations in workload, ambiguity, etc.
    • Mathematical - knowledge of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide and percentages). Communication - excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
    • Time Management - the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute efficient work processes.
    • Supply Chain Management - knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods.
    • Customer Service - knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of food raw materials, manufacturers, producers etc.
    • Problem Solver - ability to problem solve and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems by comparing, classifying, innovating, analyzing, coordinating, copying, etc. May refer to established precedents and policies.``

    Required Skills

    • Education in supply chain management or equivalent.
    • Worked experience of 3-5 years at food service distributor companies or related field.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $72,000-$84,000 per year
