Invigilators will be available to proctor or invigilate assessments both in-person at either of the Whitby or Oshawa campuses, and virtually through video conferencing.

In-person invigilation duties include such tasks as preparing testing rooms in advance, checking students in, verifying student identification and ensuring a quiet and orderly physical environment.

Virtual invigilation duties include such tasks as ensuring software is in working order, arranging virtual check-in for students and trouble-shooting/escalating technical issues.

Whether in-person or virtual, Invigilators may provide one-on-one support to students registered with the Access and Support Centre by reading and clarifying questions or scribing student responses.

Maintaining privacy, managing time and communicating Test Centre rules to students are critical functions regardless of how an invigilation is provided.
