Program Description

As part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the Operational Excellence Department is seeking a Data Analyst Assistant to work alongside the Data Analyst Team.

This position reports to the Manager, Health Information Management, Data Analytics & Facilities

Please note that as this position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, it is therefore dependent on funding

Main responsibilities

The duties are but not limited to:

Mapping the archive process alongside Data Analyst Mentor
Inventory Tracking of Current Reports
Working with the Data Analyst team members to document best practices in internal documentation.
Demonstrate creative and critical thinking on report building and visualization alongside Data Analyst Mentor.
Complete simple reports such as parking reports, or parking receipt reports.

Qualifications

Postsecondary education is preferred.
Good communication, teamwork, able to take direction
Newcomers / refugee youth (Newcomers are defined as having arrived in Canada within the past 5 years)
Indigenous youth
Visible minorities / racialized youth
LGBTQ2 youth
Youth with disabilities
Youth who have not previously been employed and for whom this would be their first job experience.
