Program Description


As part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the Operational Excellence Department is seeking a Data Analyst Assistant to work alongside the Data Analyst Team.

This position reports to the Manager, Health Information Management, Data Analytics & Facilities

Please note that as this position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, it is therefore dependent on funding

Main responsibilities

The duties are but not limited to:

  • Mapping the archive process alongside Data Analyst Mentor
  • Inventory Tracking of Current Reports
  • Working with the Data Analyst team members to document best practices in internal documentation.
  • Demonstrate creative and critical thinking on report building and visualization alongside Data Analyst Mentor.
  • Complete simple reports such as parking reports, or parking receipt reports.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education is preferred.
  • Good communication, teamwork, able to take direction
  • Newcomers / refugee youth (Newcomers are defined as having arrived in Canada within the past 5 years)
  • Indigenous youth
  • Visible minorities / racialized youth
  • LGBTQ2 youth
  • Youth with disabilities
  • Youth who have not previously been employed and for whom this would be their first job experience.
