TRP has a current vacancy for a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the procurement, contract administration, and vendor management functions for the ECWE SRS Project.

This role will play a key part in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and services, in alignment with project schedules, budgets, and contractual requiremen

ts.

Key Responsibil

ities
Coordinate and manage end-to-end procurement activities for goods, equipment, and subcontracted services related to stations, rail, and systems pac
kages.
Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations to Tender (ITTs) in compliance with procurement policies and project require
ments.
Analyze bids, conduct commercial evaluations, and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and
terms.
Draft, review, and process purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and change o
rders.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, project controls, and commercial teams to ensure technical and schedule requirements are captured in procurement docu
ments.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contractual obliga
tions.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier communications, contracts, and reporting document
ation.
Support project reporting requirements by providing procurement status updates, cost forecasts, and risk assess
ments.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, safety, and quality standards, as well as Metrolinx and consortium require
ments.
Assist in resolving supplier disputes, claims, or performance i

ssues.

Qualifications & Ex

perience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a rela
ted field.
Minimum 5+ years of procurement or contract administration experience, preferably within large infrastructure, transportation, or construction
projects.
Knowledge of procurement practices, tendering procedures, and contract law (CCDC/RAIC/FIDIC or eq
uivalent).Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solvi
ng skills.
Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and MS Off
ice Suite.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder manageme
nt skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative project en
vironment.
Professional certification (SCMP, CPSM, PMP, or equivalent) considered

an asset.
