We are currently hiring an Optical
Manufacturing Associate for our Anti-Reflective/Coatings Team to work in our
Mississauga, Ontario facility


Pay rate:
$ per hour


Shifts Available:
Monday to Friday (10pm - 6:30am)

What you'll do:


  • Responsible for Coating Applications, following standard Operating procedures for batch processing, precise machine operations and light maintenance duties.
  • Responsible for accurate sorting applicable to specific Coat Items for batch identification and Process Applications
  • Responsible for processing orders and meeting departmental and production targets in a timely manner.
  • Is attentive to details for all Coating requirements / Department needs including materials preparation, maintenance preparations, machine operations, working safely and maintaining quality control measures.
  • Responsible for the basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment by ensuring adherence to established, maintenance procedures and calendars.

Qualifications:


  • Optical Lens Training is preferred
  • Experience in an optical lab, with emphasis on the Finishing Lab is preferred
  • Prior Coating experience, preferred
  • Prior experience working with small parts/small tools/smart parts assembly
  • Ability to read and understand machine schematics
  • Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to work well with hands

Pay:
$19.00-$22.46 per hour
