Description

TAS Refrigeration is a leader in the cold storage and LTL industry.

We have 4 locations located across Canada and our Delta facility is looking for a dedicated hard working individual to join our team.

The position we are looking to fill is our freezer lead hand where the person will be responsible for general warehouse distribution duties with the addition to work with warehouse manager on freezer allocation and productivity.

Shift:
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Duties include
Working in temperatures ranging from -20C

Perform general warehousing duties as assigned

Completion of stock put away after receipt

Completion of order picking from full pallet pulls to case picking

Resolve any receiving / picking / put away errors

Pre plan following day inbound allocation

Rotation of inventory for next day receipts and inventory adjustments

Maintain a clean and organized environment

Follows company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience in working in warehouse environment (min 2 years)

Experience operating mobile equipment:
sit down counter balance, walkie, high reach (min 2 years)

Valid Forklift License

Ability to safely lift/push/pull and carry materials up to 50 lbs, on occasion

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Effective verbal and written communication in English

Working knowledge of RF scan guns, warehouse management systems

High attention to detail with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervisor or in a team environment

Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work

Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
