Comfort Keepers is looking for a Health Care Aide to join our growing team.
We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.
In this position, you will provide non-medical, in-home support, and home management services.Join a growing family dedicated to providing companionship, personal care, and other health care needs for seniors in their own homes.
Both part and full-time positions available.Our Personal Support Workers provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in our customized personal care service plans.
Must currently be living in Victoria, BC

Job Requirements:
- Genuinely concerned about helping people
- Access to a mobile phone (dataenabled preferred) and internet
- HCA Certification
- Registry number preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Current Police Record check
- Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
- Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client's presentation.
- Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
- Assist with household activities including Meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
- Driver's License and a reliable vehicle always an asset but not required

- Available to work weekends and some overnight shifts is a bonus
This position may require travel to those areas - we do our best to match you with clients in your area.
