Are you a detail-driven supply chain professional who thrives on forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and end-to-end planning ownership? ITN Food Corporation, a leader in South Asian food production, import, and distribution, is seeking an experienced Demand Supply Planner to strengthen our supply chain operations and support sustainable business growth. In this role, you will translate demand signals into executable supply plans, manage purchase orders across local and international suppliers, and ensure the right products are available at the right time.

Role Overview

This role owns the day-to-day order building process for our Supply Chain and Procurement function. You will translate sales inputs and historical performance into a logical forecast and purchasing plan, then create and manage purchase orders from end to end across our supplier base. You will also support the implementation and integration of planning software to improve forecasting, replenishment, and ordering workflows. The position is based on-site at our Woodbridge (Vaughan), Ontario facility.

Key Responsibilities

* Order Building and Purchase Order Ownership

· Build and maintain a rolling purchasing plan by SKU and supplier using sales forecasts, sales history, seasonality, lead times, MOQ/case packs, and inventory targets.

· Create, issue, and manage all purchase orders (local and international), including quantities, required ship dates, and delivery windows.

· Plan proactively for long lead-time imports (production lead time + transit + receiving) and adjust ordering to account for delays, disruptions, and service level risk.

· Own exception management: shortages, supplier production slippage, freight delays, port congestion, strikes, customs hold, and other supply interruptions.

· Maintain and improve ordering parameters (safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels) and document ordering logic so the process is repeatable.

* Demand and Supply Planning

· Develop and maintain forecasting and replenishment tools/models to align supply with demand.

· Support S&OP activities by preparing inputs, scenario analysis, and clear KPI reporting (forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, inventory turns, stockouts).

· Partner with Sales, Operations, Warehousing, and Production to align priorities and convert plans into executable supply actions.

* Inventory, Costing, and ERP Execution

· Produce inventory reporting and insights (including slow-moving/obsolete analysis) to improve inventory health and working capital.

· Support inventory costing through accurate maintenance of ERP inputs, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) where applicable.

· Enter and validate production, purchasing, and inventory transactions in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory levels and costing.

· Support production planning by maintaining templates and ensuring accurate production reporting.

* Supplier Coordination and Procurement Support

· Coordinate with local and international suppliers on order confirmations, production timelines, documentation, and shipment readiness.

· Support procurement of packaging materials, parts, and equipment as required, and maintain reorder points for critical supplies.

* Planning Systems and Process Improvement

· Support selection, implementation, and integration of demand planning/forecasting and replenishment software with our ERP and operating processes.

· Map current workflows, define requirements, test logic (forecasts, lead times, replenishment rules), and support user training and adoption.

· Create and maintain SOPs for ordering, forecasting, and supply processes; support cycle counts/spot checks to validate system accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field.

· 5-7 years of experience in supply chain planning and replenishment/order planning; food industry experience is an asset.

· Hands-on experience creating purchase orders and managing replenishment for a multi-SKU portfolio.

· Experience planning for long lead-time procurement (international imports) and managing delivery risk across months-long lead times.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with planning/forecasting tools is preferred.

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

* Preferred

· Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and/or BRC.

· Familiarity with CBSA/CARM processes, import duties/tariffs, and international trade documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year.
