Description

POSITION MANDATE
Provides effective and cost-efficient information technology services for TPS and its staff. Assists with the necessary administration, maintenance, design, modification, implementation, and security of the technical network and IT infrastructure.


REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Technical

  • Triage inbound service requests from end users and determine the appropriate course of action to resolve the issue.
  • Make effective use of ticketing system to record, track, and followup on open incidents.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of the installation procedures, work instructions, configuration procedures, system standards and documentation in relation to Job function.
  • User maintenance in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Assist in hardware and Software inventories.
  • Assist with security in both Desktop and Network environments.
  • Assist in planning and implementing new hardware and software as required.
  • Deploy new computers with standard company software.
  • Carry out additional tasks as may reasonably be requested from time to time by the IT Supervisor or IT Administrator.
  • Provide weekend coverage and oncall support when required
Administration & Financial

  • Provide computer orientation for new personnel.
  • Helps to define and implement information technology policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepares information technology reports, as required.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of the installation procedures, work instructions, configuration procedures, system standards and documentation in relation to Job function.
  • Complies with, upholds, and participates in the company safety culture and policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of a college diploma and minimum of - 3 years related experience.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Operating Systems.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Ability to think critically and problem solve.

Strong attention to detail.

Team player.
