Gorilla Guard is seeking Tactical Security Guards to provide top-quality commercial and retail based security services to select locations in Ottawa, Ontario.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR/AED
• Valid Use of Force Certification
• Experience providing topquality customer service is strongly preferred
• Experience in private security, law enforcement or the military is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills to interact clearly and efficiently with internal colleagues, law enforcement professionals and clients to address security threats
• Adequate computer skills for basic documentation and communication
• Able to stay mentally alert and acutely aware of immediate surroundings
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Providing physical security for human and capital assets
• Maintaining security perimeters
• Managing access to restricted properties and locations
• Conducting area and perimeter checks to maintain domain awareness and screen for threats
• Analyzing situations to make quick and accurate assessments regarding security concerns
• Sustaining a high level of attention to detail with immediate responsiveness and decisiveness to ensure security is maintained
• Communicating with professionalism to clients, security personnel and law enforcement to ensure the protection of people and property
• Maintaining skills through ongoing training programs to meet company standards and Provincial requirements
• Completing various reports and logs as required

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed

• Secondary School (preferred)
