Company Description:


  • Detailoriented
  • Comfortable with long periods of repetitive work and data entry
  • Knowledgeable about Canadian life insurance and annuities

Responsibilities:


  • Meeting clients to obtain required information or signatures
  • Maintaining confidentiality about the business, executives, and customers
  • Maintaining calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  • Drafting and/or editing letters, documents, and presentations
  • Following up with clients or vendors as necessary
  • Handling calls and answering or directing inquiries
  • Providing historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems
  • Preparing expense statements for review and processing
  • Maintaining a clean reception area and work environment
  • Maintaining contacts and task lists
  • Assisting with organization in document print area and supplies

Qualifications:


  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
  • Experience in life insurance and investments field an asset
  • Fluency in French an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $40,000.00 per year


Benefits:

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
