The Company is comprised of 5 locations in Ontario (Stratford, Barrie, Hastings, Perth and now North Bay) and one in Amherst Nova Scotia.

Position Summary

Rideau Supply is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Associate at our Hastings Warehouse, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.

You will primarily be responsible for picking/packing orders, loading/unloading trucks, and occasionally required to deliver local orders.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

Heavy lifting required (50 lbs)
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Pick, pack and inspect/verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off; reject damaged goods
Oversee cargo handling and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements
Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times
Compile, verify, record, and process documentation
Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists
Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices
Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location
Short local deliveries
Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

Attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Class G Drivers license with clean record
